About Our Farm
Flatwater Farms LLC is Certified Organic and much more! We grow more than 40 varieties of vegetables. We extend our growing season using geothermal energy and a wood-fired heat siphon to warm our green houses. We keep bees. We regenerate the land with native plantings and cover crops. We’ll soon be home to farm mammals and birds. Oh, and we also grow hops for River St. Joe, an on-site farmhouse brewery! At Flatwater Farms, we strive to innovate and to sustainably produce high quality and nutritious food in a way that enhances the community and regenerates the earth.
