About Our Farm
We at Strasburg Farms exclusively grow Mystique hops. In 2014, we found hops growing in a small wooded area that was once a pre-prohibition hop yard. We propagated the female plants and now have a one acre hopyard. We named the “found” hops Mystique because of their mysterious origins. It is a variant of Saaz with noble hop characteristics and aromas of earthy, herbal and floral. It’s a great low alpha hop that plays well with Lagers, Pilsners, Ambers, Kolsch and Saison’s.
